Calypso pranced through the surf sending sparkling droplets scattering through the air. The Isle was to be her new home and she was more than excited to see what lay in store for her future. Her muscles were a little fatigued from the swim and she didn't know what had possessed her to attempt such a journey at this time of year. The currents had been strong and at several points she'd felt herself dragged under the waves. It was only by sheer luck that each time she had found solid footing and been able to continue forward. That and the fact that she was in extremely good shape.

At first she wasn't sure whether to make the crossing or not. The Mainland was all she had known throughout her life and to give that up made her hesitate. It didn't last long however. There was something about the sea that she felt was calling her. A desire to know more and explore what lay beyond burned in her heart and she had never not followed her gut. Now that she was here on the other side she knew she had made the right choice. Now she just needed to gain the acceptance of any horses or herds that lived here. Hopefully they would let her stay.

Tossing her mane, she whinnied loudly into the air. Any horse who lived on this island would definitely have heard her so now all she had to do was wait for them to appear.
