If one knows where to look, they might see a narrow, winding path down into The Chasm. The bottom of which is rocky and uneven. Wind gusts constantly buffet the steep sides, slowly eroding the rock and ever widening the abyss. Few horses venture here. Only the most surefooted and brave. Those who do should remain vigilant as dangerous bandits could be lurking in the shadows.

The Ridge is a sparse cliff with patches of brush or grass. The winds here are exceptionally strong. Standing atop The Ridge, horses can look down into the abyss. The bottom is too far down to see more than shadows but at certain times of day when the sunlight hits it just right, they might be able to see the end.
