History

Born to a king who was finicky about choosing a hair. His mom was a surrogate in his father's eyes and nothing more. The colt was born and the king picked him to be the heir. When he was 6 months old, his mother up and left, never seeing her again. He was upset over this and asked his father, why did she leave. He said that she was nursing him and was dismissed when he became old enough to eat food. He was still sad, and his abandonment issues slowly started to form. He never did like the queen. She was quite rude and always looked at him funny every time she saw him. He would often overhear her, arguing that he wouldint make a good king and hes weak. This made him depressed and would tell his father about her. His father told him to ignore her lies, she was most likely jealous. He grew older and he was quite happy. He was courting a mare, a princess, from a nearby herd. They were cute together and then one day.. She left him for another prince. He became outraged at this and realized he couldint trust anyone in land again. So he left for a new life.

History

Dacar also came from Paradisus . But he grew up on Manicae , right across from Ortus. Growing up was challenging since there were many predators and mountainous terrain. Like everybody else, he migrated to Ortus to have a better life. He soon joined a herd and was a diplomat. He was happy with his life, but then, one day, everything changed. He could see the ash clouds coming and the earthquakes that had been happening recently. Unfortunately for his herd, he became the sole survivor after losing them in a rock slide caused by the earthquakes. Dacar started hearing from other equines that all the islands have the same issues and that everybody is doomed. He had two choices: Die or Leave. He decided to leave. It was an awful day when the stallion went into the sea with a few others. He watched as the ash clouds and the fiery ash clouds took over his island. He then met Vanesia, who also had the same plains. They swam past the fiery islands and were horrified as they watched the island chain going underwater.

Vanesia is an honest and friendly mare. Growing up in a rough biome, she's learned to watch out for snakes and is mostly paranoid about watching out for them. Since she moved, she's become more interested in others and not about her. The island chain sinking has added more to her paranoia, and she sometimes wonders if that could happen to her new home. As she had warrior training, she is always on a alert and will fight if she's in a complicated situation. She has no opinions on royalty or politics, since she was born into a low tier kingdom. With Ortus sinking, she tends to get confused and stresses out.

History

Vanesia used to live on a small island called Etiam; it was part of an island chain called Paradisus. Etaim had rough terrain, and lots of venomous snakes were slithering around. Vanesia was born in a very low-ranked kingdom and mostly lived on the shore. She was trained to be a warrior and didn't like it. Just shy of turning 4, she felt a calling to migrate to the big island, Ortus. Lucky for her, the big island was right across the channel, so it was a short trip. When she arrived, something went very wrong. There were frequent earthquakes, the population was declining, and the skies became dark with ash clouds. The days passed as she observed chaos filling up on the island. She overheard equines saying all the islands were sinking and nearby volcanoes erupted. She realized that she was screwed and she was going to die. The mare started thinking of the unthinkable: leave Paradisus forever. She knew hundreds of equines were thinking the same thing, and some probably left already. She met a blood bay tobiano stallion, Dacar, who was also planning to leave the island chain. She learned that he migrated to Ortus recently and lost his herd due to the recent events. It didn't take very long for the two to depart. They and a few others went into the salty, cold ocean to find better homes. Seeing the other islands on fire and sinking as they swam by was disheartening.
