Is this what it comes to? A soft trickle of sunlight illuminated the world. It was almost dreamlike. It was odd, how such beauty could still grace a rather disgusting world. So much death, despair, destruction, turmoil, and pain. How could such a warm presence want to be among the diseased scores of bodies that plague the crust? The journey had left him alone, singularly stuck listening to the voices within. Oh, how they cried and screamed and yearned to tear him down. How easy it was for them to do such tasks. How the past had played out? It was so simple to make him feel so worthless. Everything had been because of him. Had he been more careful... Perhaps Ty would be alive to this day.
A soft sigh fell from his parted lips. Oceanic-hued pools looked around to observe his surroundings. He had just been walking, with no destination in mind. The area was new to him. He had not paid much mind to where he was going. Looking back certainly did not give him any hints. All he knew was up ahead there was a major drop off. The shadows below seemed to call the unsuspecting creatures quietly to their depths. Banana lifted his muzzle skywards. His nostrils flared as he inhaled deeply. He sensed nobody had been here recently. Good, he wasn't sure if he had any energy to entertain another being at the moment. Shaking his head, his mohawk flopping, the vagabond moved towards the edge. He was curious. How far could one see?
He cautiously approached. His feet seemed to have more common sense than his brain, for they stopped feet away to protect the dunalino brute from slipping into the depths below. The sun seemed to only brush gently across the uppermost parts of the canyon, like a soft foam top. He wondered just how many unfortunates had fallen, slipped, or been claimed by that dark ocean below that was surely a hard, ragged, rocky end. What a horrible way to die. He thought to himself. He allowed himself a quick helping of what little tufts of grass he could grab. He enjoyed the solitude most of the time, but sometimes, his inner mechanics wanted company.
